New Amonix Module

Amonix recently deployed another new module design at the center. The image below shows the old module on its way out. The main characteristics are the same in that the design uses Fresnel lenses to concentrate the sun's light onto a PV cell however the lenses are larger and the module thickness has been reduced. This allowed for the use of less steel in the structure and reduced the weight by 2000 lbs. This is a new design of the 6th Generation module which is shown on the far right of the figure below.
